Once Upon a Riverbank...
In a quiet valley where willow trees dipped their leaves into clear, cool water, lived three curious pigs: Percy, Penny, and Pip. Unlike their barnyard cousins, these pigs loved splashing in the river more than rolling in mud!
Every morning at sunrise, they’d trot down the grassy slope to the riverbank, snouts twitching with excitement. They believed the river held secrets—shimmering fish that told jokes, smooth stones that hummed lullabies, and ripples that danced to unheard music.
Adventures on the Water
One summer day, after heavy rains, the river swelled and carried a small wooden raft downstream. The pigs, ever brave (and slightly reckless), pushed it back to shore and declared it their ship. With leaf sails and reed oars, they set off on a journey past duck families, under stone bridges, and all the way to the bend where the river met the whispering woods.
Pigs are excellent swimmers! In the wild, they often wallow in water to stay cool and protect their skin from sunburn.
